Was macht RB-Joy? What does RB-Joy do?
RB-Joy simuliert Tastendrücke oder Mausklicks mit einem Joystick oder Gamepad. RB-Joy bindet ein neues Icon in die Startleiste ein. Klickt man mit der rechten Maustaste auf ein Icon, kommt ein kleines Menü, indem man das Programm beenden kann oder meine Adresse erhält. Klickt man das Icon mit der linken Maustaste an, kann man RB-Joy konfigurieren, d.h., man kann festlegen, welche Tastendrücke durch welche Taste des Joysticks simuliert werden. Dieses Programm eignet sich hervorragend, um ältere Windowsspiele mit einem Joystick/Gamepad zu spielen. Sorry aber dies ist das erste Programm, das nur in meiner Interpretation der englischen Sprache erscheinen wird. Da ich nicht die Zeit habe, zwei Sprachen zu pflegen, aber trotzdem weltweit berühmt werden möchte, (;-{)}) nehme ich halt die "Computersprache".
And now to something completely different. Now almost the same text for the English reading audience. RB-Joy installs itself into the taskbar of Win95. Right clicking on the icon shows a small menu with exit and about. Exit leaves this fantastic program and about shows my snail-mail-address. Left clicking shows a menu with the opportunity to configure RB-Joy. Configuring means you are able to change the response to all buttons on the joystick or gamepad. This program is almost perfect for playing older windows-games with a joystick/gamepad. It is quite simple. Configure your old game to respond on certain keys and then configure RB-Joy to simulate these keys. I hope this small explanation is enough. Please feel free to ask if you did not understand the program.

Was ist neu an Version 6.5? What is new in version 6.5?
Version 6.5 benutzt einen neuen Kernel-Treiber um Tastendrücke simulieren zu können. Der Treiber stammt von Kithara und muß vor der Benutzung aus dem Verzeichnis Runtimes installiert werden.
Version 6.5 uses a new kernel driver for simulating the key presses. The new driver was written by Kithara and must be installed out of the directory Runtimes before using RB-Joy.
Was ist neu an Version 7.0? What is new in version 7.0?
Version 7 benutzt nicht mehr das uralte Multimediamessaging um festzustellen welche Button gedrückt sind sondern fragt Direct-Input ab. Es sollte flüssiger laufen als Versionen <7.0. Weiterer Vorteil ist das theoretisch 128 Button, 8 Achsen und 3 POVs unterstützt werden (können).
Seit dem 26.05.06 ist eine neue Runtime-Version enthalten die auch mit DEP von modernen Computern klar kommen soll.
Version 7 uses direct input for detecting which button is pressed. It should run smoother than version <7.0. Another advantage is that it is possible to support up to 128 button, 8 axis and 3 POVs.
Since 26.05.06 I include a new runtime version which should handle DEP of modern computer correctly.
